The Pow'rEver point-of- use switch provides redundant sources to computer-based electronic equipment and eliminates single points of failure upstream of critical loads. Loss of one source is transparent to the load and abnormal conditions can be remotely alarmed. The application of point-of use switches in conjunction with a properly configured distribution system can increase critical system reliability up to 0.999999998 (eight nines and an eight) of availability or less than a tenth of a second of average system outage per year. It is UL listed and is unconditionally warranted for a period of 5 years.

The UPS Maintenance Bypass Switch automatically enables a complete wrap-around which provides a totally “cold” UPS. The unit is Pad-lockable for safe UPS maintenance The switch is extremely simple to operate. There is a 3-position selector switch for Normal, Bypass & Test modes which mean no complicated key-interlocking. The unit is electrically operated with manual override .There is redundant 120 volts control power. A synchronizing check relay is built in for closed transition transfer. There is a selectable "local-off-remote" switch with remote status indication and remote control capability for unmanned facilities. The switch automatically transfers to bypass on loss of UPS output. The UPS Maintenance Bypass Switch is UL listed under UL Standard 1008
